YWCA Yorkshire Listening Project 2.0
Through Their Eyes…
The Listening Project: Through Their Eyes is a creative awareness and empowerment campaign that celebrates and amplifies the voices of women across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and beyond through powerful photography.
People supported by YWCA Yorkshire, alongside members of the wider community, have submitted photographs and stories that reflect their lived experience, moments of strength, struggle, hope and resilience.
These images will be displayed at our exhibition taking place on 25 November 2026, marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the first day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
The exhibition will be an opportunity for conversation, understanding and change for all women, everywhere. Because everybody has a story worth sharing, and each story matters.
The Through Their Eyes exhibition will take place on 25 November 2026 at The Victoria, 1 Rowland Street, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8DE from 10:00am until 15:00pm. Register to attend the exhibition here:
Support a story…
Supporting a story gives your organisation the opportunity to stand alongside women in our community by helping their voices be seen, heard and celebrated. All supporters will be recognised in our sponsor directory within the brochure, featuring your organisation’s logo and website, providing an opportunity for attendees and the wider community to learn more about your work.
You will have the opportunity to share why your organisation has chosen to support the campaign and have your logo featured alongside one of the powerful stories which will be shared in the brochure handed out at the exhibition.
Everybody has a story worth hearing. By supporting a story, you're helping to ensure these voices are seen, heard and celebrated while raising awareness of violence against women and girls.
