Abseil with YWCA Yorkshire!

Fundraisers with nerves of steel- join YWCA Yorkshire as we tackle a daring abseil down Sheffield Hallam’s Owen building on the 8th June 2019. The 160ft drop will see abseiler’s walk their way down Andrew Motion’s ‘What If?’ poem as they take in the spectacular views of the city, all to raise money for vulnerable young women and families in the area.

Sound like you’re up for the challenge? All we ask is that you have full mobility and weight bearing capacity to take part. Registration is £20 to cover costs and we ask that you raise a minimum of £100 that will all go directly to our charity.

Once registering you will receive full details of the day and your allotted time to arrive. Once that’s done, it’s time to fundraise! If you need any help with fundraising ideas or setting up a justgiving page, please email emily.evans@ywcayorkshire.org.ukor phone 07939618410. Alternatively, if you prefer to collect your donations in person, download our paper sponsor form from our website. The sooner you start, the better chance you will have of winning a pair of tramlines weekend tickets worth over £150 for the individual who raises the most!

On the day, The abseil will be conducted by Bold Adventures, a reliable, experienced abseil provider in the area. You will also receive a free charity T-shirt and full safety briefing from the guides.
